Salesforce has announced a new online tool to take on Powerpoint and Google Slides. Called Quip, the tool is similar to Powerpoint and will allow users to create and share presentations online.

Quip was acquired by Salesforce two years back and has been a reliable word processor, but it has since branched out into spreadsheets and chat software. With the addition of Quip Slides, Salesforce is trying to directly take on Microsoft Office and Google G Suite. Quip Slides has some good useful features like ask questions and receive feedback from colleagues, track everyone’s progress, etc.

To use Quip, users will need to buy the whole suite which ranges from $10 or $15 a month per corporate user, depending on the business and licensing plan.
