After spending months in Steam Early Access, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds finally hit its 1.0 release as of today. Following that release, the battle royale hit 30 million players across both PC and Xbox One platforms, where it just launched over a week ago for Game Preview (via Neowin).

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds quickly became one of the most popular games on Steam, even dethroning Dota 2 for highest number of concurrent players, so it’s no surprise that it has hit such a huge sales milestone. It sits in the company of games like Overwatch and Destiny, which reached 30 million and 20 million players in under a year, respectively (via The Verge). Both of those games were also available on more platforms than PUBG was.

If you aren’t much of a PC gamer, you can play PUBG on Xbox One right now. It’s a bit rough since it’s in Game Preview, but the Xbox One X version features steadier frame rates and 4K resolution. You can pick up a copy from the Microsoft Store for $29.99. Microsoft is also offering a deal for a limited time where you get a free copy of PUBG included with your purchase of an Xbox One X console.

Let us know if you’re having fun playing the game and what you think needs to be improved.
