Have you ever wondered what Ark: Survival Evolved would look like if it were mashed up with Minecraft? Well you’re about to find out very soon. Developer Snail Games has revealed PixARK, the mashup you didn’t know you were waiting for (via Game Informer).

PixARK combines Ark’s survival simulation aspects with voxel-based graphics reminiscent of Minecraft. You can tame dinosaurs, craft weapons, build bases, and much more in its open-world sandbox environment. It’s Steam page states that it contains over 100 creatures you can tame along with procedurally generated maps and quests. Like Minecraft, it will also feature a creative mode where you can build anything.

“Spend your time building a towering fortress or go on a quest in a sprawling cavern,” said Snail Games. “Fly on the back of a dragon and smite your enemies with a magic wand, or ride a mighty T-Rex and blast your foes with a rocket launcher. In the world of PixARK, how you play is up to you – as long as you survive!”

It is set to come to Steam Early Access and Xbox Game Preview in March. It will also be heading to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch later in the year.
