Outlook Calendar gets Actionable Notifications with the latest update on Windows 10 (desktop)

Windows 10 includes a handful of new features and improvements. One of the major new additions on Windows 10 is actionable notifications aka interactive notifications. The actionable notifications allow users to interact with a notification – for example if you get a message on WhatsApp, you’ll be able to reply to it from the notification – without opening the app.
The notifications aren’t available on most Windows 10 Apps yet. However, the recent Outlook Calendar app brings Actionable Notifications which work flawlessly:

As you can see, the actionable notifications on Calendar will allow users to snooze or dismiss an event from the notification. This is indeed a very nice addition and I personally love this new notification feature.
UPDATE: It looks like the Alarms & Clocks app now has actionable notifications as well. As the actionable notification is a public API that developers can use, don’t be surprised to see actionable notifications on third-party apps soon:
