The protagonist of last year’s Assassin’s Creed Origins is now available to unlock in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

Bayek is available through the Ubisoft Club app alongside Syndicate’s Evie Fry who was added previously. Upon claiming the character, you’ll be able to have him serve under you as a member of your ship’s crew. Bayek is classed as a Legendary Lieutenant and he is an absolute unit in battle, despite not being born for another 400 years.

Ubisoft has played around with the idea of introducing other characters and skins to play as in AC games before. I remember the days of unlocking Desmond Miles in Assasin’s Creed: Brotherhood, back when I had more time than sense. Let’s hope they keep up with the unlockables.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is available to buy now for £54.99/$59.99.
