Opera GX: World's first gaming browser is now available for download

Opera teased the world’s first gaming browser a few days back with a promise of bringing it soon to the market. True to its words, the company has finally brought Opera GX, the world’s first gaming browser in the market. You can now download Opera’s gaming browser from their official site. And it’s available for everyone.

However, what you’re getting is early access to the browser, and therefore, things might not work as it should. On the bright side, you get to enjoy several cool features such as the “Integrated Messengers.” Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Telegram, all are integrated into the sidebar of the browser. Another interesting feature is that the Opera GX browser has in-built sound effects.

Opera GX has in-browser sound effects, composed in collaboration with sound designer Rubén Rincón and the band Berlinist, who recently received a nomination in the BAFTA Games Awards for Gris game original soundtrack. Sound effects can be toggled on and off in the settings.

Streamers will love the browser too as it has inbuilt Twitch integration.

With Twitch right in your sidebar, you can easily see channels you follow, who’s online, and choose to receive notifications whenever someone you follow goes live.
