OnePlus Nord

OnePlus is rumored to be focussing a lot on the mid-rangers and entry-level smartphones. And we’re already seeing signs of it — the Shenzhen-based tech company recently released OnePlus Nord and is gearing up for the release of two new affordable OnePlus phones in the USA. The company has no plans to stop here as it’s more affordable smartphones in the pipeline.

According to a new leak, OnePlus is working on a super cheap 5G smartphone called OnePlus N2 for users in India. The leak reveals that the price of the smartphone will be Rs. 17,000(~$232) in the country, though key details such as specs and launch date are still unknown. But since this will be a 5G handset, we might see Snapdragon 690 SoC inside the smartphone.

Back in August, rumors were rife that OnePlus will launch a new Snapdragon 662/665-powered affordable smartphone in India in the month of September. Of course, that didn’t turn out to be true. So, we should take the new leak about OnePlus N2 with a pinch of salt.

Meanwhile, OnePlus will have a busy October as it’ll launch a lot of new products, including OnePlus 8T, OnePlus Buds Z, OnePlus N10, OnePlus N100, and four other mysterious products this month. Let us know if you’re excited to see what the company has in store for consumers this month.
