Earlier today we reported that OnePlus might be the latest company to add support for the notch. While the company didn’t disclose any dates for the release, it looks like we don’t have to wait too long for the device. According to the latest filing, OnePlus 6 has already passed through Wi-Fi certification.

This was spotted by smartphone insider, Roland Quandt who shared his findings on Twitter.

According to the Wi-Fi certifications, it looks like OnePlus 6 will be running on Android 8.1 and will support both 2.4 and 5 GHzĀ Wi-Fi bands. The certification doesn’t share much apart from this but OnePlus 6 is rumoured to have a 6-inch screen with 18:9 aspect ratio and 6 GB RAM. Apart from this, the device is also rumoured to have an in-display fingerprint scanner and a notch on the top.

OnePlus is planning a summer launch so it won’t be long enough before the phone is unveiled.
