It seems with almost unseemly haste Vodafone has released the latest ROM for the HTC Touch Diamond on their network. The ROM, which brings much needed performance improvements to the device, can now be downloaded directly from their website. Of course many of our readers may have installed HTC’s version already, but a carrier-supported ROM upgrade is certainly very welcome.

On a side-note, the HTC Touch Diamond is still buried pretty deeply on Vodafone’s business site, which does not bode well for the device ever achieving huge volume sales on the network. Hopefully HTC will do what is necessary to change this regrettable situation.
