Microsoft releases a new Office Insider Preview Build 13408.20000 for Windows users registered in Beta Channel. The new Office Insider Preview Build brings new features to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. The latest Office build also includes bug fixes. You can read the full official changelog below.

Paste SVG content from Office to third party apps

You can now paste SVG content from Office into third party apps that support SVG. This feature is available in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. We’re working on releasing it to the other Office apps shortly.

Notable fixes

  • We fixed an issue where In content placeholder icon next to Pictures didn’t have a tooltip.
  • We have fixed an issue where Protected view of slide show, shown by pptsx file, allows screen capture of IRM protected document.

  • We fixed an issue where starting Outlook failed while loading nickname cache.
  • We fixed an issue where users were unable to delete appointments in Calendar of Microsoft 365 Groups in Basic Auth.

To update to the latest Office Insider Preview Build, open any Office program and go to File> Account> Update Options> Update Now.
