Unlike many other 3rd party Windows 10 Mobile handsets the Nuans Neo is a truly unique handset, featuring a unique design with its own style, but also specs powerful enough to power Continuum for phones.

The Nuans Neo features  5-inch 1280×720 display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage and swappable “TWOTONE” covers and a wide variety of other matching accessories. It of course has a USB-Type C connector and supports Continuum for Phones.

The only issue was that the handset was confined to Japan, but now Nuans has announced plans to bring the handset to the rest of the world.

They write:

The highly anticipated NuAns NEO mobile phone was first spotted at the 2016 Consumer Electronic Tradeshow in Las Vegas in early January. From that moment on, the curiosity and excitement only grew as consumers in the states waiting for news on the NEO. We are pleased to report that we are launching our Kickstarter campaign on the last week of June 2016 where consumers will have the opportunity to pre-purchase one of these units.

Kickstarter has become a common route for companies to launch products, in part because it is possible to gauge interest upfront, and also because of the publicity it generates.
