Well, here we go again. It seems the release of the Nokia Lumia 920 in India has been pushed up another week, with Nokia Care telling those enquiring that the handset and its mid-range brother, the 820, will be released to the market on the 11th January.

Mobigyaan have their own record of a similar conversation, suggesting the company is finally settling on a date.

Nokia is remaining rather cagey regarding prices also, with some reporting that it will be “less that Rs. 40,000” ($736), which is of course rather unhelpful. Nokia is taking reservations for the handset for a RS 2,000 deposit however.

The handset which will likely be more mainstream in India, the Nokia Lumia 620, is according to Nokia Care also set to hit the market in the 4th week of January. Again pricing has not been released, but the device will likely be a lot more affordable.
