According to the Trust Research Advisory (TRA) The “Brand Trust Report, India Study 2012? , Nokia emerged as the most trusted brand in India again. The survey was conducted with responses and views on 17,000 brands from over thousands of participants across 15 cities in the country.
Describing the methodology of the survey, TRA’s CEO said,
“As trust is a very subjective term, we developed a trust matrix which included 61 components defining trust which include empathy, non-threatening ambience, perceived competence, corporate altruism, commanding respect, shared interest, displaying sincerity, enthusiasm, outward appearance and accepting responsibility.â€
Its an encouraging note for Nokia because its brand power is still going strong in developing nations like India where it needs to capitalize on it soon. Even though the transition period from Symbian to Windows Phone may lead to less sales, Nokia may regain its lead in the communication world if it delivers best experience possible again with Windows Phone platform.
