Nokia today detailed the updated v3.0 of Nokia Maps that will come with new Lumia Windows Phone 8 devices.

What’s new in Nokia Maps 3.0,

Offline Maps: Nokia Maps adds the ability to store all your maps offline. You can go online to get the latest info and reviews about places.

Turn-by-turn navigation: Turn-by-turn navigation can now be used even for pedestrian navigation or public transportation directions. You can now start Nokia Drive right from within Nokia Maps. Just select the end destination, and then ’Car directions’. Press ’Start navigation with Nokia Drive’ to open Nokia Drive.

Venue Maps: Nokia has mapped 18,000 unique buildings in over 40 countries around the world. You can now navigate within those structures with accurate guidance and routing.
