It seems Nokia is preparing to phase our their Windows Phone 7.5 handsets, and have allowed deep discounts to the Nokia Lumia 800, 900, 610 and 710.

EsPhoneblog.com reports Gigantti in Finland have slashed the price of the Nokia Lumia 900 to only 345 EUR, the Lumia 800 to 245 EUR, the Lumia 710 to 225 EUR and the Lumia 610 169 EUR. The prices include Finnish VAT of 23%, which of course makes them a real steal.

The deals are not confined to Finland, with Reuters reporting 15% discounts for the Nokia Lumia 900 and 10% discounts for the Nokia Lumia 800, according to CCS Research, with retailers selling the Lumia 800 for as low as £250 and the 900 for as low as £280.

The deals are great of course, but I suspect our readers will not be particularly interested, given the absence of a Windows Phone 8 upgrade for the handsets.

Are any of our readers still tempted? Let us know below.
