A new Windows phone has just popped up on benchmarking site GFXBench.

According to the stats the device is running the Snapdragon 615 Octa-Core processor and features a 4.7-inch, 1080p display, 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of storage. It would also be powered by a Adreno 405 GPU and have a 2 megapixel FF camera. The handset was listed on the 14th October.

Given today’s specs race that would put the device squarely in the mid-range. The device is named the Quanta MTP8952, which suggests it may be an ODM model or a future Microsoft Mobile device in testing.

Of course we have also seen in the past that such benchmarks can be faked, so these listings should always be taken with a pinch of salt unless otherwise verified.
