Netflix has a new Black Mirror episode-cum-movie, and you can’t watch it on Windows 10 if you’re using Netflix’s app.

The Black Mirror movie, Bandersnatch, allows Netflix users to choose their adventure effectively, altering the outcome of the movie as they make their decisions. It is an innovative way of storytelling, especially when it comes to movies. However, Silverlight enabled apps like Windows 10;s Netflix app, Chromecast apps and Netflix users using the app on versions below Android 6.19 will be unable to watch this episode.  Apple TV users are also affected by this.

A workaround for uses on Windows 10 is to use the Netflix web-app o view the episode.

It’s not clear if Netflix will be updating these apps later on to take advantage of interactive storytelling, but it seems like likely given the type of devices affected by this.
