EA’s next installment in the long-running Need for Speed racing series, Need for Speed 2020, will be revealed at Gamescom.

While EA refused to unveil the title at their E3 2019 conference, they did state that the game would be coming out soon. However, now we know the game will finally be announced during, or around, the annual Gamescom expo.

During the company’s latest earnings call, CEO Andrew Wilson said, “We’ll take the wraps off our new Need for Speed game heading into Gamescom in a few weeks.”

According to Wilson, the game is currently expected to sell four million copies before the end of March 2020. With the previous game, Need for Speed Payback, selling around 2.18 million physical copies, will Need for Speed 2020 meet this lofty sales expectation?
