myphoneAlong with the HTC Imagio leak, the BGR also made an interesting observation regarding Microsoft’s MyPhone service, which serves as an online portal for your smartphone.  The service allows you to backup your contacts, calendar and media and also to track and wipe your device apparently.

What’s new is that the service, set to launch on October 6th, will now come with 2GB of storage instead of the measly 200 MB which it featured preciously.  This should be enough to ensure an actual useful amount of photos can be backed up, although of course this remains too little for music and video for example.

Hopefully Microsoft will continue to enhance the service, which has unfortunately remained unreliable on my handsets.
