A year ago we wrote that audiophile favourite media player Foobar2000 was raising money to bring their app to mobile devices, including Windows Phone.
Now the company has delivered, with Foobar2000 beta now available to download.
The multi-format player supports MP3, M4A, FLAC, Musepack, WavPack, Ogg Vorbis, Opus and also WAVE, WAVE64, AIFF, AU, SND, 8SVX and can stream and download from UPnP media servers.
It is also the only media player to supports ReplayGain for automatic playback volume adjustment. The progress of the app can be followed at the Foobar2000 forums here.
