Microsoft is releasing some brand-new variants of its Surface accessories. The company is introducing a new color for the Surface Pen, the Surface Type Cover, and the Surface Arc Mouse. Microsoft’s Surface accessories are already available in Burgundy, Platinum, Cobalt Blue, and Black.

All of these accessories are now available in Aqua, which actually looks really beautiful. The new accessories aren’t any different from the other variants in terms of the specs, and the prices are also the same. “Aqua is a soft and approachable color. When creating Aqua we drew inspiration from our natural surroundings which helped develop its friendly attributes. This color works beautifully with our materials, from the richness of Alcantara through to the depth and sheen of anodization on our pen. It complements the rest of the existing palette while adding a hint of lightness,” said Surface Product Manager Eric Lovelin.

Here’s a closer look at the new color:

Aqua on the Surface looks really beautiful, and it’ll be nice to see Microsoft’s future Surface devices launch in this new color along with the classic Burgundy and Cobalt Blue variants. Unfortunately, the new Aqua colored Surface accessories aren’t available for purchase yet, but they will go on sale at the Microsoft Store on October 17th.

Microsoft’s partner Marimekko is also launching a new Type Cover and skin for the Surface Pro, along with a new sleeve for the Surface Laptop today — you can order them here.
