Going forward, Microsoft is trying to position as Windows as a Service both for consumers and business users. But how often they will get new features and security updates? Microsoft previously revealed that they have separate branch for business customers. The below slide from Microsoft makes it more clear.

Windows As A Service

Current Branch is the one every general consumer gets in which features and security updates will be delivered via Windows Update. Windows 10 Pro, Education and Enterprise users will have the option of an additional branch, known as Current Branch for Business (CBB), which will allow them to take security fixes as soon as available, but delay new features for a  period of time. Windows 10 Enterprise customers will have another new option called Long-Term Servicing Branch that will allow them to delay features for years.
