Earlier last week we spotted Microsoft’s Office Insider updates for OneNote, now the firm is bringing inking goodness to its November preview for its other Office apps.

  • Digital ink: With the addition of a digital pencil to pens and effects that are already available, you can sketch out your ideas to make them come to life and rediscover the simple pleasure of creating content with a pen (Available on Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Faster scrolling: Move quickly through long spreadsheets on your touch device using the new scroll handles. (Excel only naturally)

These updates are a preview, so Microsoft is liable to squash bugs and smoothen out features before rolling them out to general users later this month.
