Microsoft Chief CMO Yusuf Mehdi has announced Microsoft’s plans to integrate advanced AI technologies, such as OpenAI’s GPT-4 Turbo and the latest DALL-E 3 model, into its Copilot platform.
Here is what’s coming:
Soon, Copilot can generate responses using OpenAI’s latest model, GPT-4 Turbo. This will allow you to tackle more complex and longer tasks. The GPT-4 Turbo model is being tested with select users and will be widely integrated into Copilot in the coming weeks.
In addition, Copilot now has an updated DALL-E 3 model that allows you to create even higher quality and more accurate images based on your prompts. You can access this feature by visiting bing.com/create or asking Copilot to create an image.
For Microsoft Edge users, Copilot now offers an inline compose feature with a rewrite menu. This allows you to easily write from most websites. Select the text you want to change and ask Copilot to rewrite it. This feature will be available to all Edge users soon.
Multi-Modal with Search Grounding. This capability combines the power of GPT-4 with vision, Bing image search, and web search data to provide better image understanding for your queries.
There is also a Code Interpreter. With this feature, you can perform complex tasks such as accurate calculations, coding, data analysis, visualization, math, and more.
Finally, Bing will soon introduce a new feature called Deep Search. This feature utilizes the advanced capabilities of GPT-4 to provide optimized search results for complex topics. By enabling Deep Search, your search queries will be expanded into more detailed descriptions, resulting in more relevant search results.
If you ask me, this isn’t just an upgrade; it’s a transformation.
