Microsoft's Arrow Launcher gets updated with new features for beta users

Microsoft is updating its Android launcher, Arrow Launcher, with some new features for beta testers today. The company rolled out a new update to users part of the beta testing program for Arrow Launcher which brings some minor new features throughout the launcher. For one, there’s improved People integration which now lets you merge different contacts and remove duplicates accounts, too. The update also brings changes to the settings page, the search functionality, and a new sign-in dialog for new users.

Here’s the changelog:

  • People: Enable multiple actions on People Card;
  • People: Support address book contact de-dup and merge;
  • News: adding news provider logo;
  • Search: enable reorder of local search result;
  • Settings: Refactor Settings page structure;
  • Enable sign in for new users;
  • Couple of bug fixing on status bar, calendar card, search, Tablet, hidden apps and auto update;

Microsoft’s Arrow Launcher is one of the most frequently updated apps for the company. New features are released almost every month, and they are pretty significant everytime which is particularly interesting as the app is from Microsoft’s Garage lab.
