Update (June 9): Xbox has released another image teasing some of the merchandise that will be available.

Update: Gear.xbox.com now appears to be up and running instead of redirecting to Microsoft’s home page. The only image on the page (seen above) gives us a quick glimpse of some of the merchandise that players will be able to purchase, noting that the opening of the shop is coming soon.

Original: Microsoft plans to unveil a lineup of Xbox merchandise at this year’s E3 through the Xbox Official Gear Shop. This announcement was unceremoniously made in an article detailing everything viewers will need to know about Xbox’s presence at E3, which appears to have been overlooked by some fans.

Visit the Xbox Official Gear Shop

For the first time, come and visit the Xbox Official Gear Shop by Microsoft Stores in the Xbox Experience at E3. Fly your gaming colors and show off your fandom for Xbox and award-winning franchises like Halo, Forza Motorsport, and Gears of War as well as limited edition designer collaborations. We will have more information on this exciting new initiative over the coming weeks.

Leakster WalkingCat on Twitter notes that this store will likely be open at gear.xbox.com, although the link currently redirects to Microsoft’s website saying that the page cannot be found.

I’m sure fans would love to see the infamous onesie on sale, but we’ll need to wait and see just what type of merchandise will be sold.
