Yesterday, Microsoft’s Support page revealed that the company is no longer accepting Bitcoin for purchases made in the Windows Store.  Well, it seems like Microsoft is still accepting Bitcoin in the Windows Store. Apparently, the company mistakenly posted the “inaccurate” information on its Support page. The company also confirmed that the company is continuing to support Bitcoin. and users can continue to add money to their Microsoft Account using Bitcoin to buy products in the Windows, as well as the Xbox stores. Here’s the full statement:

“We continue to support Bitcoin for adding money to your Microsoft Account which can be used for purchasing content in the Windows and Xbox stores. We apologize for inaccurate information that was inadvertently posted to a Microsoft site, which is currently being corrected.”
