At its Windows 10 devices event today, Microsoft today revealed the new Surface Book — the company’s first laptop. The device includes a 13.5-inch device, the new PixelSense technology, the new Surface Pen, the Gorilla Glass 4, and more. The new Surface Book packs new DDR5 RAM, Nvidia GeForce GPU, and Microsoft states the device will offer a battery life of 12 hours. Unsurprisingly enough, the device is 2 times faster than the MacBook Pro.
Surprise: The keyboard detaches, too. Didn’t see that coming.
The Surface Book starts at $1499, available for pre-order tomorrow and coming on October 26th.
