Microsoft reveals new enterprise features coming to new Edge browser

According to Microsoft, the next version of Microsoft Edge (built on Chromium) is now ready for enterprise evaluation. In order to help the IT admins, Microsoft has released offline installers, policy files and more. One of the most important features in the upcoming Edge browser is the new Internet Explorer mode which enables a single browser for modern and legacy sites. With this feature, enterprise users can enjoy the security, performance, features and compatibility, without impacting access to legacy sites.
Microsoft today also revealed its enterprise roadmap for Edge browser. In the future, Microsoft is planning to release the following features:
- Support for Microsoft Information Protection on Windows 10
- Support for 110 languages
- Support for integrated deployment and config with Intune and SCCM.
- PDF support for Digital Signatures and Microsoft Information Protection
