Microsoft Reveals All New Xbox One Dashboard UI With Cortana Integration

Microsoft today announced that they will be rolling out brand new Xbox One Dashboard UI next week. They provided a quick sneak peak of this new experience at E3 today. This new UI is completely different from the current tiled interface similar to Windows. This upcoming UX is focused on speed and simplicity. There is a new pane of the left which will act as a quick access settings. You can open this pane by double tapping the Xbox button on your controller. Another major feature in the upcoming Xbox One dashboard experience is Cortana. “Hey Cortana, record the last minute and share it to my activity feed” will publish a game clip and “Hey Cortana, start a party and invite Amanda” will invite a friend into a voice chat.
