Recently we reported that Microsoft has been investigating the Shutdown issue on the recent Windows 10 Fast Ring builds. Yesterday, the company released a statement detailing a workaround for the problem until it’s fixed.

Now, Microsoft has updated its original build blog post to confirm that the issue has been fixed. The company is rolling out a new cumulative update which should fix the issue for users on Build 18999 and 19002. The update also bumps the build version to 19002.1002.

The cumulative update should download automatically. You can also download and install it manually by going to Settings>Update & Security>Windows Update and checking for the update.
