Microsoft is no stranger to releasing new Xbox controllers every now and then. Besides the Stormcloud Vapor, the Redmond-based tech giant has just launched a brand-new Astral purple Xbox controller.
In a statement, Microsoft said the new controller was designed to “spice up your gaming setup and bolster your collection.” The company also said the controller was “perfect for navigating complex gaming worlds with precision.”
The controller sports a rich purple colorway with a black matte finish on the hybrid D-Pad, bumpers, and triggers. It also comes with all the latest features, including textured grips, a 3.5mm jack, and up to 40 hours of battery life.
“The Astral Purple controller can connect to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles, PC, mobile phones, and tablets,” says Microsoft.
The Astral Purple controller, which is available in select Xbox markets worldwide this month, has a price tag of $65 for pre-order on the Microsoft Store, which is not much different from the price of other classic Xbox controllers.
Oh, did we also mention that Xbox will soon let you buy Xbox spare parts separately? It includes sticks, buttons, covers, bumpers, peeling grips, and more for regular controllers and the Xbox Elite 2 line.
