One area of envy for Windows Phone 7 users has been the profusion of 4G Android handsets.  Now Microsoft has confirmed at its Mango event that some of the new wave of Windows Phone 7 handsets running Mango will be differentiated by being 4G capable.

If this does turn out to be the case, and rumours regarding the iPhone 4S is true, it may end up being a technology adopted by Windows Phone 7 well before Apple.
