Microsoft is pushing out a security update to their bundles Adobe Flash player for Windows 10 and Windows 8.1

The update addresses an out-of-bounds read vulnerability that could lead to information leaking from your PC.

The issue appears to affect Flash on every platform, including Windows, MacOS, ChromeOS and Linux, as revealed by Adobe’s bulletin on the matter.

The update can be found via Windows Update or at Microsoft’s Update Catalogue here.

Given that Flash is becoming increasingly rare, it may be wise, after the patch, to disable Flash on your PC, for the ultimate security fix.
