Microsoft has today launched the Lumia 650 in Australia. The handset is retailing for AU$299 from the Microsoft Flagship Store Sydney, the Microsoft Store online or at JB Hi-Fi, Big W and Australia Post stores nationwide.

Calling the handset “sleek and productive” Microsoft said it offers “sophisticated design at an affordable price” and was perfect for both business and personal use.

“One of the guiding principles of the devices vision is that it’s not just about the device itself, but what you’re able to get done with it,” Samuli Hänninen, General Manager, Windows Devices Group said. “We’re extremely proud of the Lumia 650 and believe it will quickly be seen as the device that provides the perfect balance between work and personal needs.”
