We all know that Microsoft has got the hardware side of Windows Phone platform right with Nokia and even upto a level with HTC. Nokia and HTC are releasing their flagship Windows Phone devices Lumia 900 & Titan II respectively on April 8th. But what about the 3rd party apps lacking in Windows Phone platform ?

Microsoft has got big plans for it and some of them was revealed by Mary Jo Foley of All About Microsoft. You can see the internal business group slides above which has some plans to get the app story right on Windows Phone platform. Getting must have apps on Windows Phones by marketing support, giving away App Cards to dilute premium pricing of apps, promoting exclusive titles, etc, sounds great. Now, its upto Microsoft to execute the above plans.
