Microsoft’s gorgeous return to the Microsoft Flight Simulator franchise will be receiving its first technical alpha this September.

Announced just after the arrival of the game’s Insider Program, the upcoming technical alpha will allow testers to get their hands on a very early version of the game. While we don’t know how much of the Azure-powered will be playable, it’s comforting to know that the game will have extensive testing before release.

The new Insider Program will give a select few who signed up previews, roadmap updates and more. In fact, Microsoft has even released an in-depth development roadmap so that we can see certain milestones the title will hit before release.

Microsoft Flight Simulator will launch next year for Windows 10 PCs and Xbox One consoles.
