Microsoft today announced the release of the Enhanced Windows 365 App Experience for Android, and as we’ve spotted from the announcement, this could be a game-changing addition.

Teaming up with Lenovo, this new addition will let you connect your Android smartphones to a larger external display and use it as a full-fledged Windows PC, courtesy of Microsoft Cloud.

It’s like a seamless connection to Windows 365 Cloud PCs and a multitasking experience, an immersive Windows experience that adapts to your phone’s UI, and more.

“It’s an experience built for productivity, ensuring your Cloud PC is ready the moment you plug in. This technology is poised to change how we work, offering a more efficient and flexible workday,” says Microsoft in the announcement.

Once connected to an external display, users can access all of their Windows apps, files, and settings, as well as use a keyboard and mouse for a more traditional PC experience.

The feature is compatible with a wide range of Android smartphones — like Motorola’s ThinkPhone flagship — and displays, and it can be used with both personal and work accounts.

The Redmond-based tech giant has also recently launched several builds of Windows 11 Insiders. Some of the updates revamp users’ experience in screen casting in Windows 11.

Windows 365 is available on Microsoft Store.
