In the latest in the ongoing Windows Phone is dead and Microsoft does not care saga, WindowsUnited.de reports that Microsoft is redirecting Windows Phone users to the Google Play Store to download the Android To-Do app when they receiveĀ an invite to a shared Microsoft To-Do list.

What makes the issue particularly galling of course is that there is, in fact, a Microsoft To-Do universal app, but the odd leftover Windows Phone user may never find out, and that Microsoft clearly did not test their link re-director on a Windows Phone.

Of course, given that most versions of Windows Phone are now out of support, at this point we suggest Windows Phone users take the hint and upgrade to a mobile platform Microsoft actually does support, such as Android.
