At the moment we do not really know how close or if at all Microsoft’s tablet concept is to market, but the idea has been floating around for a while in the company.
Above is a video presentation from Microsoft Research of the concept, obviously still in very rough draft but showing many of the same UI features and interactions as the much slicker video we saw earlier.
