Over the past weekend, Microsoft released a new Skype Insider Preview build for the desktop app for Windows and macOS. This v8.40.76.32 update changes the position of the chat panel during a Skype call.
Previously, the chat panel was on the left and it didn’t allow you to check your lists of conversations at the same time as the chat for the current call. The updated chat panel in this update opens on the right side and it is also resizable.
