Despite Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile supposedly being the same thing Microsoft has requested separate certification for the Bluetooth stacks on both operating systems.

Two weeks after the Windows 10 Core stack has been certified by the Bluetooth SIG a Windows 10 Mobile version has just passed through the system also.

The good news is that the stack is in fact more updated than the Windows 10 Core stack, featuring for example the latest  version 1.6 of the Handsfree protocol and version 1.4 of the Audio Video Control Transport Protocol.

It does however oddly miss some profiles present on the desktop, including the very important HID protocol needed for keyboards and mice, suggesting what we are seeing are not really everything which will eventually be available.
