Earlier this year, Microsoft released Hyperlapse for Windows, Windows Phone, and Android. Today, the software giant has released Hyperlapse Pro for the Mac. For those who don’t know, Hyperlapse is a technology that creates smooth and stabilized time lapses from first-person videos. Unlike Hyperlapse Mobile, Hyperlapse Pro offers some advanced stabilization and features. Here is a demo of Hyperlapse Pro on Mac:

As you can see from the above video, Hyperlapse Pro includes a handful of advanced features for professionals. Here are the system requirements for Hyperlapse Pro for Mac:

  • Microsoft Hyperlapse Pro for Mac works only with OS X El Capitan (10.11) and Yosemite (10.10).
  • Minimum of 4GB of RAM (longer or higher resolution videos require more memory).
  • OpenGL 2.0 or newer graphics card for faster performance.

If you own a Mac and want to grab Hyperlapse Pro for your device, you can get it from Microsoft Research here or on the Microsoft Store here.
