Microsoft recently added support for Apple Watch to its PowerPoint and OneDrive apps for the iPhone. Today, the company released a new update for Skype for iPhone which brings Apple Watch support. With the latest update, iPhone and Watch owners will be able to reply to messages using voice to text. The app also allows users to send emojis and quick replies to their Skype contacts. Alongside Apple Watch support, the update also packs some other improvements, here’s the full changelog:

  • Reply to messages on your Apple Watch using voice to text, emoticons or quick prepared responses.
  • Start chats with your favourite contacts on your Apple Watch so you can do more on the go
  • General Improvements

Microsoft has been recently bringing its services to major operating systems. The company has already added support for Apple Watch to its 3 iPhone apps, and the latest one makes it 4. As it looks like, Microsoft will probably add Watch support to more apps sometime soon. It’s worth mentioning that the company hasn’t really supported Android Wear – which, of course, makes sense as the Apple Watch sales reportedly beat Android Wear smartwatch sales already. Nonetheless, the latest update for Skype for iPhone is now live on the App Store and you can grab it from here.
