EA Sports has announced that the next entry in the Madden NFL franchise will be releasing on August 10. The developer also provided details as to what players can expect when they hop into the game.

Madden NFL 19 doesn’t look to revolutionize the series, but it will add improvements to give players more control and a more realistic experience. With Real Player Motion (RPM), Madden NFL 19 can deliver “hyper-realistic animations with a higher level of gameplay,” bringing “incredible elements to the ball carrier control.”

Madden Ultimate Team is back with a roster of athletes both past and present. New progression systems and game modes will be brought to MUT, and EA will detail more of this next week.

Despite the success of Madden NFL 18’s story mode, none of the announcements nor EA’s website mention a story mode for Madden NFL 19. We’ll see more of the game on June 9 at EA Play, so it’s possible EA is withholding its reveal.

The game is set to launch on August 10 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. You can pre-order Madden NFL 19 from the Microsoft Store for $59.99. A Hall of Fame Edition, which grants 3-day early access on August 7, is also available to pre-order for $79.99.
