Lumia 640 available for $30 at Best Buy and Walmart

The Microsoft Lumia 640, a very capable budget LTE handset, is available at both Walmart and Best Buy for just under $30. This is the predecessor to the new Lumia 650, and was promised a Windows 10 update by Microsoft whenever the OS becomes officially available.

In case you need a refresher, the Lumia 640 sports a 5 inch 720p display, 8MP camera, Quadcore Snapdragon 400, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage (expandable by micro sd card slot), and of course Windows 8.1.  There’s no telling how long this price will last, but with the Lumia 650 popping up in more markets, this sub-$30 price may be here to stay.
