LinkedIn opening a new U.S. office in Detroit

LinkedIn today revealed its plans to open a new office in Detroit, Michigan. LinkedIn selected Detroit after evaluating more than 10 U.S. cities because of the availability of top talent in that region. LinkedIn believes that it can combine its powerful culture with Detroit’s dynamic talent to create economic opportunity for our employees and the city. They are currently in final stages of selecting a temporary office location so that they can get operations up and running quickly. In parallel, they will also find a permanent office space in Detroit. LinkedIn expects the first set of employees in their new office within the next few months.
