At CES 2018, Lenovo today announced the updated ThinkPad X1 Tablet to take on Microsoft Surface Pro. This 3rd gen ThinkPad X1 Tablet comes with improved performance and battery life, thanks to the new Intel 8th gen Core processors. Lenovo has also increased the display size of this tablet from 12-inches to 13-inches. The display resolution has also been updated from 2K to 3K and the display is protected by Gorilla Glass. Due to the increased display size, the weight of this device has also marginally increased. It now weights 890 g / 1.96 lbs and 1.27 kg / 2.79 lbs with keyboard.

It also comes with support for new Lenovo Pen Pro. Lenovo’s new Pen Pro will support 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity and tilt sensing for natural writing and sketching. Lenovo claims that the Pen Pro will offer 156 hours continual usage of battery life and it can be charged by universal USB-C plugs.
