Lenovo announces new active stylus to take on Surface Pen

Lenovo today announced a new digital active stylus named Lenovo Pen Pro to take on Microsoft Surface Pen. The new Pen Pro will support 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity and tilt sensing for natural writing and sketching. Lenovo claims that the Pen Pro will offer 156 hours continual usage of battery life and it can be charged by universal USB-C plugs.

There’s also a three configurable shortcut button to enhance productivity and it can be customized through Windows Pen feature and Pen App. Lenovo is also offering three extra pen tips for free.

This new Lenovo Pen Pro will be compatible with upcoming ThinkPad X1 Tablet (3rd Gen) and ThinkPad X1 Yoga (3rd Gen) devices. Lenovo is expected to announce more details on these new devices next week.
