Lenovo announces a more portable 12-inch variant of Yoga 720

Along with the announcement about the new Yoga 920, Lenovo today also announced a more portable 12-inch variant of Yoga 720. This new Lenovo Yoga 720 device is 0.62 inches thin and weighs just 2.53 pounds. Instead of the latest Intel 8th gen quad-core processors, Lenovo has opted for 7th gen dual-core variants. The 12.5-inch full HD touchscreen supports Lenovo Active Pen for Windows Ink experience. Windows Hello is supported through an in-built fingerprint reader.

It comes with both USB-A and USB-C port for connecting with accessories. Lenovo claims that it will offer up to 8 hours of battery life. The new Lenovo Yoga 720 variant will start at $649 and will be available in October.
